Refers to a person in an automotive company or a Government department, whose decisions have brought about a change in the way his company/organisation is being run, or enters into new areas of business or has created new benchmarks for players in the sector to operate within. The award would be decided by the jury based on nominations from the members of the Auto Monitor editorial team. The Person of the year would be decided based on votes.
